B3.2 Available Strength
It is intended that nominal strengths, resistance and safety factors, and available strengths of steel and composite members in the seismic force-resisting system (SFRS) be determined in accordance with the Specification, unless noted otherwise in the Provisions. For reinforced concrete members in the SFRS, it is intended that they be designed in accordance with ACI 318 (ACI, 2019).
