Each product, with the exception of round, square and hexagonal bars and flats, shall carry a tag or be marked with the manufacturer's name or trade-mark. Bars and flats shall carry a tag bearing the manufacturer's name or trade-mark. Designation of steel should also be similarly marked on the product or tag.
20.2
Every heavy, medium structural mill and plate mill product shall be marked with the cast number. Plates produced from strip in coil form shall be marked with cast/heat number on top plate of each pile/packet.
20.3
The ends of the rolled products shall be painted with a colour code, as agreed to between the purchaser and the manufacturer/supplier.
