8.4Bends and Springs

8.4.1

Bends and springs shall conform to the approximate dimensions given in Table 4. A tolerance of ±1.5° on the specified angle shall be permitted.

8.4.2

Type 1A bends shall be made only from heavy tubes and in addition to conforming to the approximate dimensions given in Table 4, shall be fitted with sockets and back nuts conforming to the requirements given in 8.3.2.

8.4.3

Each bend and spring shall be supplied with one socket, if so specified by the purchaser.
